These guys have been around the block a few times, and they’ve got the experience to prove it. They offer a range of grips, from 2-finger to 3-finger, and even palm protectors for you delicate flowers out there. The quality is top-notch and the leather is buttery soft, but don’t let that fool you – these grips are tough as nails.
Of course, there’s always a catch. Some complain that the sizing can be a bit off, so make sure to measure your hands carefully before you order.
But hey, it’s all worth it in the end.
Bear Komplex
Bear Komplex was founded in 2015 and also gained a significant following within the CrossFit community. The company offers a range of products, including grips, weightlifting belts, and knee sleeves, all designed to help athletes perform at their best.
These guys are relatively new to the game, but they’ve already made a big impact sponsoring CrossFit events. They offer a wide range of grips as well, including carbon fiber grips for those of you who need that extra level of badassery.
The design is sleek and modern, and the fit is on point – no slippage here.
But let’s be real for a second – the main reason you’re considering Bear Komplex is because they look dope AF.
Victory Grips vs Bear Komplex
When it comes to material quality and durability, both Victory Grips and Bear Komplex are top-notch.
Victory Grips uses high-quality leather that will last you for years, while Bear Komplex’s carbon fiber grips are ultra-tough and resistant to wear and tear.
In terms of design and fit, it’s really a matter of personal preference. Some prefer the classic look of Victory Grips, while others like the modern feel of Bear Komplex. As for cost, Victory Grips tends to be a bit more affordable, but both brands are in the same general price range.

Victory or Bear Komplex?
There are tons of grips on the market, but after trying many over my years in the box, my top picks are the Victory Stealth grips and the Bear Komplex Carbon Fiber. Both are great, but I personally prefer the Bear Komplex for a few reasons.
Bear Komplex carbon material is “stickier” on the bar, which saves your grip during large sets of gymnastics movements. The wrist strap is also more comfortable and doesn’t dig into your skin.
However, I have noticed that the Bear Komplex grips wear out faster than the Victory Grips, so keep that in mind before making a purchase. I’ve had my Victory Grips for over three times as long and they’re still in great condition.
